Soccer for Conservation
July 15-30, 2020
The Tanzanian NGO Peace for Conservation will organize “Soccer for conservation” around the Serengeti National Park, one of the biggest national parks in Africa and unique in terms of its biodiversity and landscape. The goal of these activities is to engage and connect with local communities, in particular youth, to raise awareness and promote action for wildlife conservation. Convening people through sports provides a platform to promote conservation actions in an effort to sensitize people about the importance of their natural resources and the benefits they provide if used sustainably.
