Pablo Taborga is a Bolivian Civil Engineer with twenty years of experience in energy, oil & gas and transportation projects in Peru and Bolivia. He holds a MSc. in Environmental Engineering from UK’s Newcastle University.
Since 2007, Pablo works for Hunt LNG Operating Company, the operator of PERU LNG, a 408 km pipeline across the Andes, an LNG Facility in the coast and a marine terminal. He is PERU LNG’s Quality, Health, Safety and Environmental Manager and oversees the implementation of the mitigation hierarchy, pollution prevention programs, environmental and biodiversity monitoring, and restoration and conservation initiatives.
Pablo has valuable experience in Environmental Impact Assessment and in successfully implementing Environmental, Health, Safety and Social Management Systems in accordance with industry best practices and international standards to assess and control risks and impacts in large infrastructure projects.
He is a member of the Technical Advisory Council of the Environmental Engineering Department of Peru’s San Ignacio de Loyola University and since 2015 he is the Vice-president of the Environmental and Social Committee for the Hydrocarbons Sector of the National Society of Mining, Oil & Energy in Peru.
