Executive Producer for the NOAA/Smithsonian Ocean Today Program
Kurt Mann is an award-winning documentary filmmaker and Executive Producer for the NOAA/Smithsonian Ocean Today Program which produces short videos featuring ocean exploration, discoveries, marine life and science. In 2016 he won a regional Emmy for "TRASH TALK," a 12 minute film about marine debris. Ocean Today videos are distributed through a kiosk network of museums and learning centers around the world. The Ocean Today team has recently launched a new series for students and educators called Ocean Today Every Full Moon which delivers a new collection of short videos about a single topic, every month - on the full moon.
