Ben Mirin is a Wildlife DJ who records and makes music from sounds in nature. He leads expeditions around the world to document and catalog acoustic data from some of the planet's most threatened ecosystems, and works with scientists, explorers, and documentarians to engage new audiences in nature and conservation. He is an artist, acoustic researcher, television host, and public speaker.
Ben is the creator and host of the web and TV series "Wild Beats" on National Geographic Kids and Nat Geo Wild. He is also a National Geographic Explorer, a Safina Center Fellow, and an environmental ambassador at the Cornell Lab of Ornithology.
