After a soundscape performance by Leah Barclay, the session opens with National Geographic Society's President and CEO, Gary E. Knell. Smithsonian’s Steve Monfort and Earth Optimism Advisory Group Chair Tom Lovejoy will host a series of launches announced by Conservation Commons, Cornell, UNEP, Conservation@Museums Collaborative, Resolve, Half-Earth Project, Future Earth and Roadmap.org to build and scale up conservation success. Earth Optimism co-chair Nancy Knowlton, will introduce a series of legendary artists, including Maya Lin, James Prosek, and Carolyn Finney. The session closes with a performance by JAYO, Rap Artist & Teens Dream Ambassador from London.
