Will Stolzenburg has tracked his wild subjects from Amazonian forests to American deserts to Aleutian seacliffs. He is the former science editor of Nature Conservancy magazine, and more recently the author of three books on the plight of predators in the humanized web of life, including Where the Wild Things Were, Rat Island, and Heart of a Lion. He has served as scriptwriter with Green Fire Productions for their films Lords of Nature and Ocean Frontiers, is a former Alicia Patterson Journalism Fellow, and is writing his next book on the planet-saving power of compassion.
