Brian Coyle

Dr. Brian Coyle is a behavioral ecologist and program manager with the Smithsonian Conservation Commons. His work at Smithsonian includes in situ and ex situ conservation research applied to endangered species recovery, Bird Friendly agroforestry, the Smithsonian Interconnected Health Initiative and empowering young leaders to design and execute sustainability action plans through the Eco Teen Action Network. He also works at the local level to promote smart development and community sustainability initiatives to protect and restore the Patuxent River and Chesapeake Bay watersheds.
