Zoe Nyssa

Dr. Nyssa is a cultural anthropologist focusing on biodiversity conservation and policy. Her work combines traditional ethnographic methods with “big data” techniques in computational social science to track conservation practices and evaluate outcomes for human and non-human life. She collaborates with leading conservation organizations in North America and Europe. Previously, Dr. Nyssa was jointly appointed as Ziff Environmental Fellow at the Harvard University Center for the Environment and in the Science, Technology and Society Program at the Kennedy School for Government.
