Senior Vice President, South America Hunt Oil Company
Igor Salazar graduated as Industrial Engineer at the University of Lima. He completed a Master's Degree in Energy Economics at the University of Oklahoma (USA) and he has also taken the Senior Management Program (PAD) with University of Piura. He began his professional career in Peru with Petroperú and Repsol, in refining activities including planning, commercialization and operations. He continued in commercial activities at the Texas Petroleum Company (Texaco), and later joined Endesa International in Chile, where he was involved in gas and energy commercial activities and business development in Latin America. In January 2002, he joined Hunt Oil Company in the development of Camisea projects as Commercial Manager of PERU LNG and in January 2011, he was appointed General Manager of the company. In January 2017 he was appointed Country Manager for the Hunt group of companies in Peru, and he is currently in charge of the South America region as Senior Vice President of Hunt Oil Company.
